Course of Session
Registration
Registration means that you will receive the documents you need during the conference such as badge, booklets and guides.
Opening Ceremony
At the Opening Ceremony speeches will be delivered by for instance guest speakers. Further, Ambassadors will deliver their speeches. Every participant has to attend the Opening Ceremony.
Lobbying
Lobbying is the informal part of the conference and it is divided into moderated caucus and unmoderated caucus. During unmoderated caucus the delegates can move around and talk to other delegates without any formal rules. During moderated caucus the delegates who would like to hold a speech will be chosen by the chair. During a moderated caucus the delegates will discuss generally about the topic or certain aspects of the topic but not about the resolution at this stage. The delegates will discuss the draft-resolution when they will be “in session”.
In session
The debate has specific rules which have to be followed. They will be explained in “2. Course of Debate”.
General Assembly (GA)
As in the Opening Ceremony every participant has to attend the GA. One resolution of each committee (excluding the Security Council) will be debated and voted at the GA.
Closing Ceremonies
The Closing Ceremonies will follow rafter the GA. The Student Officers will report their point of view of the week and deliver their speeches. Deliver their speeches and report the committee’s work.
